5. How we share information
Laundry Operators
We share information reasonably necessary for an Operator to evaluate, accept, perform, update, and complete an order. This may include the customer’s name, pickup and delivery address, selected services, quantities, timing, instructions, order messages, and relevant payment or order status. Customer phone numbers are not displayed to Operators through the standard order view. FMLS may relay communications without disclosing personal phone numbers.
Service providers
We may share information with payment processors, hosting providers, communications providers, customer-management systems, analytics providers, security vendors, professional advisers, and other contractors that process information for legitimate business purposes.
Legal, safety, and business purposes
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process; protect customers, Operators, FMLS, or others; investigate fraud or abuse; enforce agreements; obtain professional advice; or support a merger, financing, reorganization, acquisition, or transfer of all or part of the business.
FMLS does not currently sell covered personal information for monetary consideration as “sale” is defined under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A.
6. Payments
Payment information is processed by third-party payment providers. FMLS may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, card brand, limited card details, fraud signals, and other information needed to administer an order. Payment providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Do not send complete payment-card information through FMLS messages, support emails, or Operator communications.
7. Cookies, analytics, and third-party collection
FMLS and its service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, logs, and similar technologies to keep sessions active, remember preferences, measure traffic, understand Platform use, prevent fraud, and improve performance.
Third parties providing analytics, advertising, embedded forms, payment, or communications services may collect information about your activity over time and across different websites or online services, subject to their own privacy practices and your browser or consent settings.
You can manage many cookies through browser settings. Disabling certain technologies may affect account access, checkout, or other Platform functions.
8. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Platform, administer orders and payments, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect safety, prevent fraud, and comply with law.
Retention periods vary by record type. We may retain deidentified or aggregated information that no longer reasonably identifies an individual.
9. Data security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, destruction, loss, alteration, or disclosure. No online system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting account access links, passwords, devices, and other authentication methods and for notifying FMLS if you suspect unauthorized access.
10. Your choices and requests
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may be able to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information; obtain information about our privacy practices; update account details; or opt out of certain communications.
Submit a request to [email protected]. We may verify your identity and authority before completing a request. Some information may be retained where required or permitted for transactions, taxes, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
You may opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link. Transactional order, payment, safety, and account messages may continue while you use the Platform.
11. Nevada privacy requests
Nevada consumers may submit a verified request directing FMLS not to make a covered sale of covered information under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A. FMLS does not currently sell covered information for monetary consideration as defined by that law.
To submit a Nevada request, email [email protected] with the subject “Nevada Privacy Request.” We will authenticate and respond within the time required by applicable law. Nevada law permits an initial response period of up to 60 days and, when reasonably necessary, a 30-day extension with notice.
12. Children’s privacy
The Platform is not directed to children under 13, and FMLS does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Orders must be placed by a person at least 18 years old. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate authorization.
13. External links and independent Operators
The Platform may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Independent Laundry Operators are responsible for information they collect outside the FMLS Platform. This Policy governs FMLS’s handling of information and does not replace an Operator’s separate privacy obligations.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, Platform features, or business practices. The updated Policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. We may provide additional notice of material changes through the Platform or by email.
